Hana KoKo

Today for the Summer Learning Journey we were drawing a costume for Santa but I made Mrs Claus a costume. I was inspired by my culture witch is Samoa, and Nigerian. It may look easy but it is very hard. Have a good day.- Sadia

  1. Hey Sadia,

This is an awesome design. I love the choice to do a Mrs claus costume instead. You’ve been able to include the NIgerian and Samoan flag in your design, displaying your culture and making use of the colours in really creative ways.

The green and white shoulders and the red really look christmassy and the stars from the Samoan flag fit into the Christmas story too.

I recognise the flags But I don’t really know too much about either of these cultures and I’d love it if you could teach me something new. I’d love to know where the design came from in the lower part of the dress, the black and beige hem.

    Great Post Sadia,
See you later in the comments.

  2. Well done Sadia what a neat outfit. I could imagine you wearing it with so much pride for your cultures. Good point that everyone needs a hat for summer.
