Today for the Summer Learning Journey we were doing a comic and here is my one. What I found fun was writing the comic and what I found hard was spelling the words.
I am a Year 4 student at Edmund Hillary School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 12. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

ReplyDeleteTino pai tō mahi! Good work with the comic activity :D
You said you found it hard spelling the words but clearly that hard work paid off as your writing is very clear, well done! I noticed one sentence though, “No my teeth fall of the boat”. Here you have included ‘fall’ rather than ‘fell’. Remember to think about what tense you are writing in. Past tense, present tense or future tense. Because the sentence is talking about something that has already happened, we need to use the past tense word ‘fell’ rather than ‘fall’. Also, ‘off’ rather than ‘of’. So the sentence should read, “No my teeth fell off the boat.”
Keep up the good work Sadia. Keep blogging and your writing will improve like crazy this summer!!!

Well done Sadia. I am so pleased you are joining in with the summer learning journey.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favourite short videos. It is so funny when he puts the teeth in after they have been in the fish's mouth. I look forward to seeing what other tasks you share Sadia. From Kylie
